This Women’s History Month, Indigo is celebrating the legacy of hardworking women in agriculture by highlighting the Spruell family: four generations of women leading their family farm in Mt. Hope, Alabama. Spruell Farms is part of Indigo’s sustainable crop program, selling sustainably grown cotton at a premium to major consumer brands that participate in Indigo’s Market+ Source program. Sustainability means taking it from one place to the next and it being completely intact or better. Sustainable is being consistent, it's being long standing. Sustainability to us is just a way of life. The opportunity was very exciting to work with Indigo.
